Chimerical

That is me perfectly. I subscribe to Word of the Day @ Dictionary.com because I like learning new words and being challenged in my vocabulary. My email by line is "Rise above common rhetoric." It is a personal paraphrase of James 5.12. You can look it up. But it is an ideal to which I try to live. So today, 4/8/9, the word for the day is chimerical. It means imaginary. Which sums up the thought process of my days. I am always in the imaginary because it is fun. And one of my top likes is fun.

My very wimpy Daniel Dog, at nearly 90 pounds, is lying under my desk at my feet like he does when thunderstorms are in the area. I wonder if he hears something I don't.

Todd and I are going to a funeral this morning of a very dear woman we worshipped with for almost 20 years in Staunton. Marian Bowles and her husband Ray were two wonderful people. Ray passed away in 1998. Marian was the postmaster in a small town on US Route 60 in Rainelle, WV many years before retiring to the Staunton area with Ray. A very saintly woman who will be a treat for heaven.
